Netflix presented a new feature today called 'Moments', which will allow users to easily save, revisit, and share their favorite scenes from series and movies. Initially available on iOS devices starting today, 'Moments' will roll out on Android phones in the coming weeks.
Among the possibilities that this feature offers is the ability to relive iconic scenes from popular productions, such as the passionate kiss between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington in a carriage in the hit series 'Bridgerton'. To use 'Moments', users only need to click on the corresponding option at the bottom of the screen, and the scene will automatically be saved in the 'My Netflix' tab.
Additionally, if users choose to re-watch the episode or movie that contains that marked sequence, playback will begin directly from that saved moment in 'Moments'. There is also the option to download and share these scenes on social media if desired.
In the words of the streaming platform, the idea behind 'Moments' is to allow users to keep those special scenes that have impacted or captivated them, so they can relive them at any time. With this new feature, Netflix aims to enhance user interaction with its content and offer a more personalized and emotional experience.
